When we moved in to our third Bristol house we did have some illuminated silhouette shapes that we put in the front windows.  But we soon realised that two doors away was a someone after my own heart.  The house was decorated with festive lights, . . . . .

Oh NO,  what was I going to do?  This stuff isn't cheap and I wanted to make a start on my external festive decorations.

Well,  . . . . .    we started, we bought two Blow Moulds, a Snow Man and a Santa Clause.  These were attached to a small metal frame and stood on a flat roofed porch above our front door.  But they looked a bit lonely sitting there, so we also bought a small Christmas tree and put it between them.  Now the tree looked bare, so we bought it some lights, that flashed - using flasher bulbs of course.

I wanted to do so much more, but unfortunately it cost money, something we didn't have a lot of.
